- Salary $66,000 - $82,000 DOE with ability to go higher for
highly experienced candidates.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties
- Oversees the patient flow and services for various functions
including reception, patient scheduling, referrals, medical
records, patient benefits, patient registration, patient billing
and credit management.
- Partners with the Clinic Director, Clinic Nurse Supervisor, and
other clinic leaders to ensure the smooth function of all patient
related activities.
- Develops, implements, and manages a process of continuous
improvement for the administrative support systems.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, with a focus on cost
containment and high quality patient services.
- Resolves operations and process problems and keeps the lines of
communication open with staff and supervisors to ensure high
productivity.
- Formulates and implements policies, procedures, and processes
in accordance with the standards and requirements of the
organization and various regulatory agencies.
- Ensures the clinic operations are in compliance with
governmental regulations and industry requirements.
- Represents the clinic in interactions with regulatory agencies,
insurance carriers, and other professional and community
groups.
- Partners with the Clinic Director in maintaining position
community relations and serves as a liaison with staff and the
public.
- Participates in forecasting and preparing the annual
budget.
- Coaches, mentors and trains direct report staff. Provides
continuous performance management and conducts employee performance
evaluations. Addresses performance and/or behavior issues,
clarifying expectations and providing feedback.
- Supports staff growth and development. Assesses the educational
and experience needs of all levels of staff in collaboration with
the individual. Encourages staff to seek educational opportunities
incorporating job related training in addition to mandatory
training.
- Participates in the recruitment and selection of staff.
Provides orientation to outline job requirements and expectations,
policies and procedures, and proper use of tools and
equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor s Degree in Health Administration,
Healthcare, Public Health, or Business Administration. Master s
Degree in Health Administration, Healthcare, Public Health or
Business Administration preferred.
- Experience:3 or more years of administrative experience in a
medical office which must include at least 1 year of managing
employees. Relevant experience outside the medical field may be
considered. Experience in a healthcare or business setting
preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of fiscal management.
Knowledge of government regulations and reimbursements processes.
Knowledge of medical office operations. Knowledge of the principles
of continuous process improvement. Knowledge of medical
terminology. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve process
problems. Ability to evaluate and make recommendations for
continuous quality improvement. Effective verbal, written and
listening communication skills. Skills in problem-solving and sound
judgement. Strong analytical and decision-making skills to be able
to assess an issue and determine an optimal solution. Ability to
organize work while performing multiple tasks requiring attention
to detail. Ability to exercise independent judgement and
discretion. Ability to develop effective working relationships to
gain trust and establish credibility. Ability to analyze complex
data and communicate observations in a simplified manner. Ability
to effectively manage employees and administer clinic policies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced primary care
environment. Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs
including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and EPIC.
