ORGANIZATION SUMMARY World Relief is a global Christian
humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the

immigrant services and advocacy. POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief
seeks a Family Navigation, Youth & Childcare Coordinator who
supports refugee and immigrant families by providing comprehensive
family navigation services while coordinating youth programming and
program-based childcare. This role works across the early
childhood-to-youth continuum, supporting families with school
readiness, child development, youth engagement, and safe childcare
access while caregivers participate in educational and integration
services. This position integrates direct family engagement, youth
program coordination, and childcare oversight, ensuring culturally
responsive, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate
services. The role supports Early Refugee School Impact (Early RSI)
and education-based programming in compliance with grant
requirements, cooperative agreements, and World Relief’s mission,
vision, and values. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: FAMILY NAVIGATION &
EARLY CHILDHOOD SUPPORT Provide intensive, relationship-based
family navigation services to refugee and immigrant families with
children from birth through age five, in alignment with Early
Refugee School Impact (Early RSI) grant objectives. Conduct
comprehensive family intakes, eligibility screenings, and ongoing
needs assessments focused on school readiness, early learning, and
child well-being. Develop and maintain individualized Family
Navigation Plans that identify goals, strengths, barriers, and
progress related to early childhood development and successful
entry into formal schooling. Support parents and caregivers in
understanding the U.S. early childhood and education systems,
including expectations for kindergarten readiness and family
engagement in learning. Administer, explain, and assist families
with developmental screenings (including ASQ and ASQ:SE as
required), ensuring timely completion, documentation, and
follow-up. Identify developmental concerns and coordinate
appropriate referrals to early learning and intervention services,
including Head Start, ECEAP, licensed childcare, early intervention
providers, and specialized support services. Promote parental
engagement and capacity-building by modeling age-appropriate
activities, encouraging home-based learning practices, and
reinforcing caregiver confidence as a child’s first teacher.
Coordinate services and communicate with education providers,
service partners, and internal staff to reduce barriers to access
and promote continuity of care. Advocate on behalf of families to
address challenges related to enrollment, attendance,
transportation, language access, and system navigation. Maintain
accurate, timely, and compliant client case files, service records,
and progress notes in accordance with Early RSI grant requirements,
cooperative agreements, and World Relief policies. Track and report
family engagement activities, referrals, screenings, and outcomes
to support program monitoring, evaluation, and grant reporting.
Facilitating Weekly Play and Learn sessions with refugee community
groups YOUTH PROGRAM COORDINATION & IMPLEMENTATION Plan and
facilitate monthly culturally responsive youth programming that
supports academic success, social-emotional development, and
integration. Prepare weekly activity outlines and structured
programming aligned with education services. Track attendance and
participation outcomes. Foster a safe, inclusive, and
developmentally appropriate environment for youth participants.
CHILDCARE COORDINATION & COVERAGE Coordinate on-site childcare for
adult education classes, workshops, and community programming
daily. Ensure a minimum of two (2) approved childcare personnel are
present at each session and maintain required supervision ratios.
Arrange substitute childcare coverage as needed. Personally provide
childcare coverage if no substitute is available to ensure program
continuity. Oversee sign-in/sign-out procedures and ensure
adherence to child protection policies. Document staffing coverage
and report safety concerns as required. COMPLIANCE, DOCUMENTATION &
COLLABORATION Ensure compliance with child protection policies,
Early RSI requirements, and organizational procedures. Maintain
timely and accurate documentation across family navigation, youth
programming, and childcare coordination. Support grant data
collection and reporting processes. Collaborate with internal
teams, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen service
delivery. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and
professional development. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mature and personal

National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation
document Experience working with children, youth, or families in
multicultural or community-based settings. Computer literacy,
including proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based
systems. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and
ability to pass background and MVR checks. Strong organizational
and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively with
culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Trauma-informed
and culturally responsive approach to family and youth engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt in
a fast-paced, community-based environment. Commitment to
confidentiality and ethical service provision. Ability to work
occasional evenings or weekends as required. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: AA/AS/BA/BS degree in Education, Child Development,
Social Work, Human Services, or related field. Experience working
with refugee or immigrant populations. Bilingual or multilingual
