Surgical Tech Location: Spokane, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,209 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in scrubbing pediatric, ENT, and plastic surgery cases. License: WA License in hand Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: Proficient in scrubbing pediatric, ENT, and plastic surgery cases. Ability to float between units as required. On-call availability during weeknights or weekends. Weekends are required for on-call only. Description: Position requires certification in operating room technology. The technician will float between various units as needed, including an outpatient surgical center. On-call duties will be assigned based on departmental needs. No block schedules are required. The expected patient-to-tech ratio is 1:1. Additional skills needed include scrubbing for a variety of surgical cases, such as neuro, ortho, general surgery, and more. This role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position requires knowledge of basic surgical equipment. Proficiency with the Davinci XI robotic surgical system is preferred. Daily patient census is approximately 55-60. The surgical team is supported by various interdisciplinary services, including physical therapy and radiology. The role entails participation in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including trauma, pediatrics, and robotics. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate required skills during the screening process. References from supervisory roles that cover at least one year of recent employment are necessary. Candidates should be flexible in their scheduling to accommodate departmental needs, including potential floating to other nearby facilities if requested.
