Join Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) as a Progressive Care Unit Nurse and take your nursing career to exciting new places. A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse plays a vital role in the care of patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care. As part of TNAA, you will have the flexibility to travel and work in various locations across the country, gaining diverse experiences while providing top-notch medical care. Our dedicated support team ensures that you have a smooth transition to each new assignment, focusing on your growth and job satisfaction in varied healthcare settings. Monitor and record patient's condition and document care provided Administer medications and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate care plans Educate patients and their families on treatment plans Operate and monitor medical equipment Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Ability to adapt to various medical units and integrate quickly Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong observational skills Capability to handle stress and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) is advantageous but not mandatory
