Description: The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide critical
care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions,
prioritizing medical ICU patients with conditions such as DKA,
sepsis, and ARDs. Responsibilities include cardiac rhythm
interpretation, medication titration, and patient monitoring.
Responsibilities: Interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate medications
accordingly Manage patient care involving hypothermia protocols,
chest tubes, and invasive line monitoring Assist with proning and
maintaining chest drains Provide care for a variety of patients,
primarily in the medical ICU Float to other units as required,
assisting in Respiratory, Surgical, Tele, PCU, or ED Requirements:
Minimum experience of 2 years in an ICU setting Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Proficient in cardiac rhythm
interpretation and medication titration Travel experience strongly
preferred Skilled in using EPIC, BD Alaris IV Pumps, and Pyxis
