Wound Ostomy RN at Providence Health and Services summary: The Wound Ostomy RN provides specialized nursing care for patients with wounds and collaborates closely with medical teams in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role requires a Washington RN license, BLS certification, and WOCN certification, with preference given to those with a bachelor's degree and experience in rehabilitation nursing. Description Providence is offering up to $20,000 hiring bonus to work night shift and up to $15,000 to work day shift for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Executive, the Wound Care Nurse communicates and collaborates closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds. Shift Details: Part time, 32 hours per week, 10 - hour Day Shift Required Qualifications: Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Alliance of Wound Care, Ostomy, and Continence Certification (WOCN) 3 years Medical/Surgical/Rehabilitation nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 3 years experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation facility. Why Join Providence?
