Family Medicine opening in Montana w/ OB - Located in Libby, MT
- Missoula 190m - Full-time, permanent position - Surgical
Deliveries are a requirementEnjoy one of the Northwest's premier
small town environments with an excellent standard of medical
practice. You will be stepping into a busy Community Health Center
practice where you would provide comprehensive Family Medicine and
still take advantage of our lifestyle and location.Center offers an
opportunity for the selected physician to provide a broad range of
comprehensive family medicine to a rural community. The local
critical access hospital staffs Emergency Room Physicians as well
as Hospitalist so the only call is after hours phone only coverage
for clinical questions (1 in 6) and Obstetrics call (1 in 5) if
that is part of the selected privileges. Also, if interested, you
will have the opportunity to mentor rural health medical students
as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Washington Medical
School.The community has a wide range of other services including
physicians practicing in the specialties of Family Practice,
Internal Medicine, OB-Gyn, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology,
Podiatry, Radiology, as well as a comprehensive Critical Access
hospital complete with ICU, two modern OR suites, spiral CT
scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and a state of the art PACS/teleradiolgy
system.Facility offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Minimum qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of medicine,
BC/BE in Family Practice, and eligible for hospital privileges.
Prefer: Rural health experience in similar setting. We are a HPSA
site eligible for NHSC scholar placement and loan
repayment.Situated 90 miles west of Kalispell, 165 miles east of
Spokane, Washington and a few miles south of the Canadian border,
