Description Under the supervision of the manager or Vice President of Patient & Clinical Services, serves as an active member of the Operating room team in providing quality surgical patient care. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and aseptic surgical environment. Observes and teaches other surgical team members proper surgical technique. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training Graduation from accredited surgical tech program. Or equivalent educ/experience. Experience as needed to fulfill job functions. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training Recent completion of CST training program. Or equivalent educ/experience. Current job as an OR Technician. Coursework/Training Central Service training. Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA). Central Service experience. Why Join Providence?
